Hey everyone! First time posting here, I'm usually more of a lurker, but I'm hoping for some advice! I'm pitching for budget to invest in a customer advocacy tool, and I'd love recommendations. Right now I'm doing a lot manually which I'd love to automate:
Getting logo permissions from customers and surfacing these internally
Sourcing testimonials per product and making them accessible to differnt internal teams
Identifying case study opportunities & warming up those customers
Requesting G2 reviews
Recruiting customers to private previews
We're also migrating our CRM from Dynamics to HubSpot, and I'm hoping to use that as a timely hook to make the case for an advocacy plug-in that can bring a lot of this together. I've heard good things about Deeto and Testimonial.to, has anyone used either? Or is there something else you'd recommend? Worth noting, we don't have a need for a community space right now. Any advice gratefully received 🙏
Hey Robyn Peters, we have deal hub and every contract has logo rights unless the customer ops out of them and it auto updates on the account in SFDC to note if we have logo rights public or internally or none. For written quotes/testimonials, case studies, and G2 reviews, we use Peerbound and love it! It's helped us scale our customer stories 3X. For the last bit, we use our advocacy program and in the sign-up process learn about their interests so that we have this info on-hand when needed for various asks across the org including early previews.
Also, I had a thread in 🔒[private feed] not sure if it's still active about the async video testimonials!
I was gonna say, with this list, it sounds like you might be looking for Peerbound.
I was able to tackle your first bullet point with a Salesforce report and Airtable (a tool my company was already paying for)
Thanks, all. That is very kind of you! Robyn Peters I've sent you a DM. Happy to chat at your convenience and show you what we do for our customers. 🙏
I have had success with TechValidate (9 years) followed by UserEvidence (the past several years). The top talent came from TechValidate after the SurveyMonkey acquisition to launch UserEvidence. For me personally, UserEvidence has allowed me to very quickly identify advocates for opportunities (including qualifying for reviews) and generate content for case studies, slideware and social. It's also very easy to collect authorization to share a customer’s name/quote/logo publicly. I haven't had a lot of experience with backend integration but know they can easily integrate with SFDC and several other platforms. I believe UserEvidence offers pricing options for small and large programs.
Biased but happy to answer any questions about running your advocacy program in/alongside HubSpot.
I highly recommend UserEvidence to help you scale. I'd need to pull specifics, but in less than 6 months and 3 UserEvidence surveys we've generated nearly 500 pieces of customer evidence and recruited nearly 150-200 new advocates. (we have ~1,000 customers). G2 reviews are embedded in the process and we're identifying great accounts for more in-depth stories where needed.
