Hi all, I want to build my sales reference request workflow in Slack, so that AEs can make the request and I can track requests and respond there. I'm looking at the workflow builder and it seems like there are several options. Has anyone else done this that can share how you have it set up and what you've learned in that process?
Paola I thought the team at Grafana had done this, too? Or did someone else on the call Friday, mention using Slack a lot? Can you DM me their name, if you remember?
Hi there Nicole Saunders! I’ve built one out in slack. Happy to chat through it!
I’d do that and then add each one to a Google Sheet or Slack List to track and report on it easily with a date request field and the closed out date field column for different slicing and dicing of the data then.
In the past I used the reference object in Salesforce, allows the AE to submit the request and then for the team to handle internally from there; we link to customer contacts and the prospect opportunity so the reference stays linked outside of that. Transitioned to a more lean Slack workflow for AE requests, which I manually enter in Salesforce (for more control)
Hello! Sorry for delay here -- we have a workflow the wonderful Debbi built for us to Request an Advocate -- that is, B2B teams, PMMs can log a request when they need a customer for a speaking gig, roundtable, webinar etc. Testing this atm. We'll likely use the same workflow for Sales to Refer an Advocate to join our program too. Hope this helps! 🙂 The Reference workflow.. building this out atm. We're using Champion so likely this will be baked into SFDC > Champion to make it easy for Sales.
