Hey Kevin S.! My experience has been a mixture of everything you listed. In my last role, we were considering using an actual customer of ours (Speakerbox Media - they are amazing). But our demand gen team was already using a company (I wish I could remember their name!). If you’re trying to save on budget, recording on Zoom and having AI edit it, would be a good route! You could have the customer use a personalized Zoom background so it's clean and presentable.

Hiya Dawn Miears! I've done something like this in the past - what I found helpful was working with sales enablement to get sales to actually finish the survey. I've also incentivized sales to conduct the survey and worked with sales leaders to get their buy-in and support. Another thing that helped was sharing with them feedback from 2-3 handpicked sales reps that filled out the survey (you'd ask them to be a part of the testing phase of the survey).

Nicole Gardner UserEvidence is an amazing tool to gather surveys! It’s super easy to use and we've had great success with getting responses through their surveys. Another thing is utilizing CS (like you mentioned) to pull a list of happy customers to go out to for the survey. That way you have a target list to go out to.
