Hi All, when it comes to customer stories & videos - we are know and have done the 2-3 minute customer testimonials - curious what are you doing in video storytelling that's slightly new and different in this area that's been getting attention and traction? 🎥
Hi Jacqueline Gu! I’m at the qualtrics conference this week and one of the panels focused on customer experience and capturing customer feedback. They suggested doing a video testimonial survey. Having a set question and let the customer video themselves. I also think doing video content at the customer’s work place is always fun! Or having them create their own video clips of their day in the office.

Hey Jacqueline Gu, 2 strategies I think are interesting because they don't limit customer videos to a customer stories page: 1. Combining demo video with testimonial - getting a specific use cases of a customer using the product , works great visually. ex) Kit's pricing page (https://kit.com/pricing) has a video from a customer talking about how she used specific features in her business. 2. Highlighting pain points in short, funny clips. ex)Click-Ups home page has a video scroll which is interactive and mimics social.

Alex Mechlin have you seen these used in the real world? any examples?
I have moved from videos to podcasts as customers are more likely to agree to participating in a podcast vs video or a case study. We do use the content from the (approved) podcast to create and publish a case study, quotes, etc and have found many of our customers who have participated in podcasts are great speaking candidates as well.
Amy thanky you - would you share your podcast?
Jacqueline Gu Besides Kit and ClickUp, Slack (slack.com) has a section on their homepage with short, customer story/demos. Webflow (webflow.com) also has a similar slider halfway down the page which previews customer videos, with demo screens integrated.
