I’d ask ChatGPT to generate a list and calendar of the top conferences for that industry (limit by size and region if you want more specificity) and then go back to your customer and ask which ones on the list they’re attending. If that’s too much work, ask the CSM to ask about the conferences they’re planning to attend “XYZ next quarter”. That way the customer only has to answer yes or no

Adding: -recruitment table for advocacy programs/community -identifiers (ribbons, badge flair, etc) for community/advocacy program members -reserved seats for customer VIPs -awards ceremony (or re-announcement of winners if one already took place, or announce the application window if the awards haven’t happened yet) -table talk discussion starters

I’d categorize them separately as “hand-raisers” and then “advocates” when they complete an activity. But if the pressure is on to count “engagement” and you need to show something in order to keep your job, include both under “engagement” and then clearly articulate your plan for converting that engagement into meaningful impact.

I mean, sometimes “find a new job” is the best advice though!
