Plus they only want 5 star reviews for Gartner which makes it even tougher. You can't really ask a customer "can you give me 5 stars". So maddening.
Same for case studies......cause that's how we've always done it. Ugh!
I hear you. We're working on some GPI reviews for an upcoming Voice of the Customer report. The recommendations we're getting from our Analyst Relations team is, "We need the customer to give us 5 stars, but we can't tell them to give us 5 stars, but we really need to know that they will" ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
If you ask a customer โif you were to submit a review, would you rate us five stars? And if not - why? Gartner doesn't approve of this being in writing - and they will remove reviews if they see anything in writing. But you can have this conversation over a phone call. This is how automobile dealers keep their satisfaction ratings - and they can lose their franchise if they don't maintain a high rating.
