I'm looking for people who want to brag about how they show their love / support for customers on social! I'm working with my social media team to create more content around customers, but I'm not the most social media savvy person (took me months to learn tiktok 😂). So if anyone does an amazing job with this, especially on Linkedin, I'd love to take a look!
Can't say we're AMAZING at it. Working on it! We share:
G2 reviews
Amplify what our customers are doing (milestone celebrations, launches, speaking, etc)
I'm helping my client, Talkdesk, run a customer appreciation campaign on their social right now. We have a mixture of posts on the brand account (pointing to stories, videos [coming later this month], and quotes). And we built a social calendar, with social copy, for the COO because he wanted to also feature customers during the month. For his calendar we're either reposting the brand posts or featuring the customer URL (because we're posting about some customers we don't yet have content with or don't have current content with). So far, the metrics on the brand posts have been great! We've also received DMs from customers via the COO's posts, sharing how awesome it's been to see the company showing appreciation this way. So, tangentially, we're calling it a success!
There is nothing that I love more than this! A couple examples: At Gong we have a dedicated slot weekly for customer showcase on our LI. That could be case studies or customer focused content - but we always tag the champion and brand. As well as sending over social copy so that they can share the content on their own pages, tagging Gong. For our customer awards program we ran billboards in Times Square congratulating the winners and made it a social media moment. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/activity-7196600371245441025--an8?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop
What Shannon Howard said. We are using a lot of customer quotes, videos, sharing reviews. I would like to do more of what Vera was saying about a customer showcase...sharing customer-focused content. This is especially good when you know a customer is wanting to get some social media 'love.'
