Spotlighting Community Members: Strategies for Engagement and Sharing

If you have a customer community, how are you spotlighting different members? Are you also sharing on other social sites? And do you showcase their content, as well?

I think there are a couple of more traditional ways to do this. You could do a mini customer story that you use on the blog and in social media. From there you can share their content, etc. Another way is to invite them to an interview, live or pre-recorded or on your podcast if you have one. I am in a FB group where the owner will occasionally do an interview type FB post and I was featured once. that was kind of cool.

You could explore doing different annual/bi-annual series for spotlights depending upon your community value proposition. For eg: We’ve run spotlights that showcase the career progression and tips in communities for leaners.
