Weird post, but I'm drafting my "open to work" post on LinkedIn and would love some feedback (Ciana Abdollahian if you've seen me creeping on your LI it was just for inspiration 😄). Draft post in the comments, would really appreciate the help!
After almost four years leading enterprise customer marketing at SAP Concur in Australia and New Zealand, I was unfortunately made redundant just over a week ago. As tough as it's been to take in the news, I’ve really enjoyed having some time to spend with family, and have begun to think about what’s next. I’m looking for my next role, and am hoping to stay in what I think is the most underrated and still very much untapped area of marketing: customer marketing. So whether it’s creating add-on campaigns to drive pipeline-generation efforts on the customer front, building advocacy programs that influence deals, or finding ways to close the feedback loop, count me in. To my SAP Concur friends, thank you for making me a better marketer, and for welcoming me into the corporate world from startupland all those years ago. I’ve loved working alongside all of you, and finding ways to make our customers’ stories shine. Thank you as well to each and every customer I’ve worked with — it’s truly been an honour to share all your wins. If anyone is looking to add customer marketing to their organisation, please let me know. And if anyone wants to just catch up to better understand the customer marketing/customer advocacy function, reach out!
Lmk how I can help! I highly recommend following Emily Worden’s advice on how to announce you’re “Open to Work” on LinkedIn. I made lots of new connections and had a lot of great conversations as a result of using her format.
Ooo thanks for the links, I'll take a look and see if I can tweak mine! Also, I really loved your structure!
when I did my post over the summer I got 54K impressions which was wild. I would recommend you ask your trusted network to report & comment on the post to give it a lot more reach. That really helped. Also join Next Play if you are interested in start up jobs. Best of luck. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/nataliarybicka_after-moving-back-from-london-i-ended-m[…]m=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAAAFLC6cB--X_Zx8dcBdVCf9wzYGQJLNo1h4
