Recommendations for Customer Advocacy Courses and Certifications

Does anyone have recommendations for customer advocacy-focused professional development courses or certifications? My company is offering to cover up to $200, and unfortunately the Customer Marketing Alliance courses are all $500 except for one micro-course. Does anyone recommend the Customer Marketing Alliance courses? Where else should I be looking?

I took this one a few years ago and loved it (it's a $500 Customer Marketing Alliance one). This one is also by Kevin Lau and only $150, so might be a slimmed down version?

I would give it to you for free if I could but product marketing alliance does all the marketing for it. Here’s basically the breakdown - when I recorded the content it was 8-10 hours meant to be one compressive customer marketing course. CMA decided to break it up bc of the length into the two - the $500 is still the fundamentals and dives into specific programs. The micro course for $150 is really what to do in your first 90-120 days to drive immediate impact with a framework to follow. Hope that helps

Basically same principles if you’re launching something new or revamping an existing program. I use the same framework myself 1. Have clarity of goals 2. Validate with direct customer feedback 3. Drive stakeholder alignment 4. Launch your mvp tied to clear metrics and iterate

Karilla, have a look at the Captivate Collective courses. They are running the next one in a few weeks. If I remember less than $300 and so worth it.

Captivate Collective has a program execution certification coming up in Dec and CMAweekly members get 20% off. I've heard good things about their courses. I've taken Kevin's and Leslie's courses and really enjoyed those. I also wrote my own on Scaling Advocacy.

I wanted to chip in and ask for your advice. I’m looking for a customer marketing training for a small group of my marketing colleagues (4 to 5 people) based in Europe. Do you think any of the courses discussed above would be suitable, or would you recommend additional courses? Thank you for your kind help and guidance!
