Claude AI Agent Now Available in CMAweekly Slack – How to Get Started

@channel Fun Announcement! Claude (as an AI agent) is now available in CMAweekly Slack. Yay!! You can follow directions here: (under For Individual Users): https://support.claude.com/en/articles/11506255-getting-started-with-claude-in-slack#h_1823d7965c Or go to our apps, in the left sidebar at the bottom, click through, and Claude will be listed at the top. Click through and add it.

Thanks! Can you tell me why this will be helpful for our discussions? I'm all about AI but unclear on how we would use it here?

It helps with searching for answers, you can basically ask it to look for things. You can probably use it to create docs, etc.

Okay - I've been meaning to learn about Claude (I pretty much only use ChatGPT) so I'll try! Thanks 🙂

Came here to ask the same. It doesn't access messages/content in Slack. To enable it I had to create an account and link it. It really just seems to possibly be a convenience if you have paid account.

Once you have the app in slack and go to it and have a conversation it can access content in slack.

Jennifer Lyons it looks like you added it to Slack, but did you go through the Slack connecter on Claude as well?

Mary Green I authorized Claude for Slack. The Slack connector is only available for paid plans 😢
