Also, Im not sure if this is a client gift or you're activating at a booth, but the MOST popular booth activation I did last year was "Aura Photography" We hired an Aura photographer to come to our booth and take photos, then they put them on a branded card, but people LOVED it. We pulled back from TR and cancelled our contract. we were not getting any value out of the site and were focused heavily on G2, Gartner, and analyst reviews (among a few industry specific sites)

It has varied by company. In L&D ppl wanted swag as gifts and didn't care about the money. But in previous companies, we'd offer $50-250 depending on the level and priority of the ask. To be clear, I'd never give $250 for a reference call. That was usually 50-75. Haven't had to here at my current company

We are big fans of UserEvidence core product (survey and validation tool). We were exploring Zealot, but it has now moved to another team, so not sure where they left off (Sarah Koval)

Yes, I have thrown events with a few champions and had them bring an executive. This has had about a 60% take rate (meaning 50% of the clients were able to get an exec to join. Now these are also events with more than one client. If you do this just with your champion, I'd suggest inviting another current client using the expansion product/feature/service to be able to speak to it. Perhaps their champion and executive as well. And, I can say I have also had success with virtual events involving sake tasting with live oyster sshucking and whiskey tasting or cocktail making classes.
