we use clay! we use it integrated with Salesforce to enrich contact and lead data. it's primarily used for new biz/prospecting but we're using it a bit for cross-sell as well. i also plan to use for building new BU expansion campaigns, but only to develop audiences for ads or for sales-driven emails, bc clay contacts aren't marketable.

I've previously used that product data to add personalization to newsletters (think Spotify Wrapped but wayyyy jankier 😆 ) and we definitely saw higher engagement but it was hard to tie to ROI directly. but love the idea of using it as a signal to invite to advocacy program!

i loathe GPI, to be clear 😆

we've only ever incentivized for GPI using their own incentive process (which i think also sometimes helps with corporate compliance, since they aren't getting a gift from us in exchange for leaving a review -- the incentive comes from Gartner). Super interesting approach, lauren! I may steal that, although I don't really want to do all the manual work lol

my boss also wants us to just buy the equipment ourselves and i'm trying to counsel that that is probably more difficult in the long run than hiring someone on site... i'd love to see what you come up with, Tim!

We send custom cakes and swag! Also use it as an opportunity to drive reviews — part of the CSM follow up process
