Former Bizzabo power user here. Happy to help answer any questions but I would also make sure you look at Swoogo and Zuddl -- all offer robust event platforms with great marketing functionality though Bizzabo is on the higher side of price point compared to the other two.

My experience has been that Chicago definitely doesn't like to go to stuff after the workday wraps as many folks leave the city center to head for the burbs and don't come back. I've seen much lower attendance for anything late afternoon into the early evening (locals & tech crowd if that's helpful). NY, it is less about the time of day but really seems to depend on location -- if they work in Manhattan, they aren't going to trek to Brooklyn as an example.

If they've joined on stage and I know they are looking to further develop as a speaker, I've written them a personal speaker testimonial and shared professional stage photos that they can use for their speaking portfolio. I've found it to be very well received. (I should mention that I was the event organizer in this case so the testimonial made sense)
