practical ways you can help:
1) Give
A great resource is Stand With Minnesota (https://lnkd.in/gFRdxWu2) - it lists organizations, GoFundMes, and groups supporting impacted families, workers, and neighbors. Find a cause you care about. If you're not sure where to start, ask a friend in Minnesota for a local favorite business or a school fundraiser making a difference.
2) Advocate
Reach out to your elected officials and urge them to support policies that protect civil rights and prioritize community safety. Tools like 5calls.org can help you find contact info for your reps and what issues are at stake.
3) Stay informed & listen
Talk to people in the state and especially the twin cities and hear their stories about walking kids to school for protection, US citizens feeling scared to leave their homes because of their skin color and schools on lockdown. And follow local news - I recommend the The Minnesota Star Tribune who has made its coverage free
