Hey everyone! I’ll be in San Diego October 13–16 and would love to meet up with anyone local or also in town. If you’re up for grabbing a coffee and chatting customer marketing, advocacy, AI, life, or anything in between, let me know! It’ll also be my first time in San Diego, so if you have any favorite spots, restaurants, or things I should check out while I’m there, send them my way!
Cara Peterson - how much of San Diego are you going to be able to see? Or are you restricted to just one main location?
yea, because going North to La Jolla, Del Mar, andthen up to North County to Carlsbad and Oceanside gives you so much more to see
loooove SD and I'm down there all the time (i'm about an hour and a half away). i'll try to see if i can link up with you that wednesday! def the world famous sd zoo (and safari park) if you can make time for it. i also love walking around Balboa Park in general (where the zoo is), Liberty Station (grab a beer or two at Stone Brewery's patio), and Seaport Village. there's honestly sooo much to SD and each little area has its unique quirks. I was just in north park two weekends ago and loved the vibe there.
But be warned Cara Peterson, even though they just redid the airport, there's only 1 way in and out, so it can get a little trafficky
Cocina de Barrio is also good. I never made it over to Morning Glory but it’s always recommended
ooo Morning Glory looks amazing. the zoo is #1 on my list!
I mean there is no tunnel out there Cara Peterson, but it's not that much better. That said, it does have one of the prettiest landings in all of US airports.
Cara Peterson So fun! I was born & raised in San Diego and moved back in 2018 🙂 Lots to do and see so having a car is great! I'd love to grab coffee while you're here. I'll send you a dm to coordinate! Things to do:
Little Italy Farmers Market on Wednesdays: grab a coffee or matcha from Romantics Coffee and banana bread from Lucky Bandana Bakery
Walk on the beach- my favorites are Del Mar and Coronado
Board & Brew is a popular sandwich shop- if you go to their Del Mar location, you can then enjoy your sando at the beach a few blocks away
San Diego Zoo is awesome! and then you can also walk around Balboa Park
Sunset Cliffs is famous for watching the sunset
Coffee shops + restaurants:
Little While
Holsem Coffee
Chance's Coffee
