Yes the biggest point of feedback is that is just a chat and that there is too much happening (yeah for an really active community) that it is hard to follow. In a future platform they are wishful thinking more forum based options and 1-1 chats in chat of the massive community chats that are happening now. And I’ll reach out to you 1-1 to discuss your experience with Gainsight… I already signed off for the day ;)

I aim it to be a support and best practice. But we also have user groups. I currently manage a WhatsApp community with over 500 active member and we aim to professionalize it this year.

Thanks all for your responses! Well definitely not in the place to go for a $$$ platform. Currently our customer set up something themselves in WhatsApp but they are not that happy and asked if we can have a platform available. Most of my stakeholder are onboard so yes. Only 2 final meetings this and next week. It’s more that our management team wants to learn and hear experiences from other software vendors on having a community in general. Sort of like a referral call but more generic. So if somebody is still hear so share their experience and wants to jump on a call that is much appreciated

For us we have our local marketing team decided between demand gen and customer marketing (and a little product marketing). But every now and then we also collaborate and/or help each other out… specifically in the creative areas
