When I was at Bazaarvoice, we had the "Inspire Studio" as a planned part of the Inspire Roadshow that happened in each city - to capture video testimonials, both about attending the event (promo/buzz for the event) and about working with Bazaarvoice (Customer testimonials/approved quotes).

Tapped up CS in advance to give customers a heads-up, as well as capturing folks on the floor.
We printed "Inspire Studio"-branded foam boards with four questions for the interviewees to answer. (What's one trend you're seeing and how are you reacting to it? In your role, what's the main thing you are focusing on this year? What's the most exciting thing that Bazaarvoice helped you achieve? What's your biggest takeaway from the event?)
Made sure to record permission to use output in our marketing materials.
